Want to start playing guitar? Already a guitarist who is looking to improve and pick up some new ideas? Guitar lessons with Robert Lane are a fun, relaxed way to develop as a musician. Robert has a great love of the guitar and a passion for music which he is keen to pass on. 

Robert has years of experience teaching both individuals and groups, of all abilities and ages. He has a BA (Hons) degree in Popular Music and lots of experience performing in bands and as a solo singer/songwriter. He is happy to cater lessons towards students, whether they are a beginner wanting to try out the guitar, a more experienced player who wants to fill the gaps in their knowledge or an advanced player looking for some new ideas. Lessons can cover music theory, sight reading, rock school grades, songwriting and improvisation.

Online Guitar Club

Robert also runs an online guitar club. He teaches songs and techniques and there’s a fair helping of guitar and music chat too. All abilities welcome, it’s a really friendly group and there are some spaces for new faces.
